Visio Lectio began in 2021 as a simple creative experiment. During the pandemic lockdowns, when we couldn’t gather on a Sunday, I started creating lino-cuts as a way of engaging with the Sunday gospel readings in a new way. What began as a personal practice soon grew into a shared project – making the weekly gospels visible through art.
I never imagined how far it would travel, or how many communities would use the images in worship, online services, and reflection.
The current (and still unfinished) collection will remain freely available for download throughout 2025. In 2026, Visio Lectio will take new shape as my art and ministry continue to grow in new directions. This will fall under a new name and an expanded creative focus.
Thank you for the care, sharing, and encouragement that have surrounded this project. It has been a joy and an honour to see these images come to life in so many different corners of the world. I hope to take you with me on this unfolding journey!
